Events Volunteers
We need events volunteers to staff our fair-trade textile booths, as well as assist at local fundraising and awareness events. If you don’t have the time to commit to a leadership position, but want to be a casual volunteer in Victoria or Vancouver, this could be a great fit for you. Volunteer Opportunities (Cusco, Peru)
Marketing and Events Coordinator
We are looking for a great communicator with considerable experience in social media, photography, marketing, and event organization to promote our programs and elevate our partnering communities’ voices and stories in a way that aligns with our mission and values. Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, minimum 6-month commitment. Based in Cusco, Peru. Start Date: ASAP

Member-at-Large, Board of Director
Mosqoy is posting an open call for new board members who are passionate and committed to advancing women's empowerment, youth education, and cultural resilience. The Board is responsible for the overall guidance, strategic direction, and governance of the organization’s programs and team.

Mosqoy’s translators play an integral part of the organization, as they are the bridge across cultures, communicating our materials and stories between languages and countries. Without these positions, we do not successfully uphold our values of accessibility, relationships, fairness, and inclusivity. This position will translate written material on our website from English to French.

French-English Translator Editor
Mosqoy’s translators play an integral part of the organization, as they are the bridge across cultures, communicating our materials and stories between languages and countries. Without these positions, we do not successfully uphold our values of accessibility, relationships, fairness, and inclusivity. The Editor will proofread written material from our website that has been translated from English to French by our translators.
Grant Writing and Fundraising Assistants
These important positions can be carried out virtually anywhere in the world and would assist
with grant-writing and fundraising coordination to obtain grants, organize fundraising
campaigns, and help Mosqoy achieve long-term sustainability. A G&F assistant must have
strong writing and interpersonal skills, and would ideally have some experience working in

Co-op Credit:
We offer co-op placements through the University of Victoria every semester. These co-op
placements can take place in either Canada or Peru, and count as credit towards one work-
term. Placements vary depending on Mosqoy’s current needs and the student's skill sets. Some
of our summer placements are paid positions, pending Canada Summer Jobs funding, while our
